Garrett L. Coats grew up in Ponca City, Oklahoma and was raised as an avid Oklahoma State Cowboys fan. However, much to the dismay of his parents he would pursue his college education at The University of Oklahoma in Norman. Garrett was very active on campus with philanthropic events and enjoyed his Saturdays watching the Sooners play football. After graduating undergrad, Garrett entered law school at OU’s College of Law. Garrett joined Bedlam Law in 2021 and has been with the firm since. Garrett thoroughly enjoys serving Central and Western Oklahoma communities.

Garrett’s practice focuses mainly on Family Law, Estate Planning, and Probate. Garrett enjoys meeting clients, connecting with them, and diving into their legal matters with compassion, advocacy, and a “get-it-done” attitude. Garrett works with Bedlam’s team of lawyers and staff to help clients find comfort in resolution and is dedicated to helping each client resolve their problems.
